Cardboard appears at nearly every doorstep. If it is not arriving at your home or business, it is arriving at someone you know. Packages, mailers, boxes, and deliveries move through our communities every day, quietly accumulating and disappearing just as quickly.
Its familiarity makes cardboard easy to overlook. Once emptied, it is often treated as waste rather than a resource, sent to landfill or shipped far from the communities that produced it. While cardboard is widely generated, the local demand to reuse it has not yet kept pace with its availability.
When reclaimed with intention, clean cardboard becomes a valuable carbon-rich material. It plays an important role in composting, soil health, and material reuse. At Scrapz, we collect clean cardboard locally and process it into Shredz, our shredded cardboard material designed to stay in circulation.
Shredz is used to balance compost piles, mulch gardens, protect soil, provide animal bedding, replace plastic packaging, and support creative and educational projects. By transforming everyday boxes into a usable local resource, we help reduce landfill waste, limit single-use plastics, and keep materials working within the communities they come from.

Cardboard Collection Service Agreement
Before Subscribing to a Scrapz Cardboard Collection Service, please read our Service Agreement. It outlines important details about service frequency, bin handling, cancellations, and pickup expectations. By completing your payment, you confirm that you've read and agree to the terms of this agreement.
Monthly Collection Seedling Tier
Where we all start. Perfect for folks looking to make their first sustainable step. The introductory seedling tier includes monthly pickup of clean flattened cardboard. To protect your privacy, we ask that you kindly remove any personal or shipping information prior to our pickup. We will handle any leftover residue.
First month's collection included in signup.
Includes 2 optional bags of Shredz with every collection, pick up reminders, and optional tips for reuse or garden-friendly applications.
Bi- Weekly Collection Sprout Tier
Your roots are taking hold and you’ve committed to both soil and structure. The Sprout Tier includes weekly pickup of cardboard, making it easy to reduce waste and give your household a full-circle sustainability routine.

Return Collection Sapling Tier
For those ready to close their loop. The Sapling Tier is an optional add-on to either Monthly or Bi-Weekly collection and includes the return of 1 (10lb) bag of Shredz per month, processed from locally collected cardboard.
Includes:
